An unhoused white male has been arrested by the City of Oneida Police Department for savagely raping a child under the age of 13 in a homeless encampment.
Izaya J. Miles, 21, was arrested on Tuesday, following a joint investigation by the department and the Madison County Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT). According to investigators, the sex terrorist knew the victim before the assault occurred and is also accused of providing alcohol to other minors.
The child rapist currently faces several charges, including:
- Two Counts of Rape in the First Degree
- Endangering the Welfare of a Child
- Unlawfully Dealing with a Child
He was arraigned in Oneida City Court and has been remanded to Madison County Jail on a $50,000 cash bail, $100,000 bond or $250,000 partially secured bond.
No other victims have been identified in relation to the incident. Due to the pedophile being unhoused, police are looking for additional victims or witnesses that may be connected to other incidents.
