A South Boston white male faces up to 105 years in prison on multiple charges of possession of child pornography.
Jerry Remines, 56, was found guilty of 11 counts of possession of child pornography earlier this week in a Halifax County Circuit Court.
During his bench trial, prosecutors showed the white pervert repeatedly accessed child porn on his cellphone between August and October of 2019.
Virginia State Police High Tech Crimes Division Special Agents Travis Barr and James Trogdon testified that the pedophile used various apps on his phone to access the images and that he knowingly was in possession of child porn on multiple occasions.
The Commonwealth presented approximately 100 images this white degenerate accessed, including images depicting the apparent sexual torture of children.
Remines participated in online chat groups, where he said he was “sick” and looking for “perverted” pornography, according to evidence presented in trial; he also asked to be added to “taboo” or “young” chat groups.
Judge Kimberly White, when announcing her verdict, noted the images were “exceeding violent and disturbing.”
Prior to his bench trial this week, the white devil previously pleaded guilty to six counts of misdemeanor computer trespass. Authorities say he accessed customer phones during his business as a cellphone repairman and transferred customers’ private pictures and videos to his own devices.
That’s ultimately what led authorities to busting Remines on the child porn charges. One of Remines’ customers noticed his images had been stolen and reported it. During the service of the search warrant related to that case, child porn was uncovered.
Further, Remines also previously pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of nonconsensual filming of a nude person in the recording of a young woman undressing to shower while visiting his home.
The white monster was sentenced to one year and four months for six of the misdemeanor counts.
The sentencing for the remaining count of computer trespass and 11 counts of possession of child pornography will happen at a later date.
Judge White ordered a presentence investigation and psychological evaluation ahead of the sentencing hearing, which has not yet been scheduled.
