A white male accused of raping two girls is set to become the village’s next police chief.

According to KPLC, leaders in the Village of Elizabeth are responding to the likelihood that Chris Paul, a candidate accused of raping two girls, will become responsible for upholding the law and exemplifying community values as the next chief of police.

Elizabeth, a village in Allen Parish, Louisiana, reportedly has approximately 400 residents and will elect its next chief of police in November. The pedophile was arrested in early September after being accused of raping two 13-year-old girls 20 years ago, and his opponent announced he is stepping down from the race, KPLC reported.

The sex terrorist is facing the following charges, according to the outlet:

  • Rape (two counts/second degree)

According to a report from the New York Post, this white brute cannot be replaced on the ballot because the qualifying period has closed. Because the sex criminal has been charged with a crime but not convicted, the charges do not bar him from running for chief of police, the Post reported.

In a Facebook post to residents, Mayor Mandy Green reminded community members that this pale monster has not been convicted of a crime and is presumed innocent until proven guilty. She added that neither she nor the village’s Board of Aldermen has the authority under state law to change the ballot, KPLC reported.

The white brute has been asked to step down from the race while the case against him is pending, the report notes.

According to KPLC, the next chief of police will take office Jan. 1. If elected, the child rapist will be eligible to hold the office unless he is convicted of a felony.

The report notes that Elizabeth voters could decide whether the village’s police chief should be appointed instead of elected. The Board of Aldermen approved an ordinance during a special meeting Friday that places the question before voters in the Dec. 12 election, the outlet reported.

It was not immediately clear whether the proposed change is related to the current circumstances involving the police department or when it would take effect if approved, according to the report.

The pedophile’s opponent reportedly withdrew after learning that his candidacy had violated the Hatch Act because he works for the federal government. He said that when asked to choose between his job and the race, he chose to keep his job to continue supporting his family, KPLC reported.
