A 26-year-old man was arrested in North Carolina in connection with sexual abuse of a 7-year-old girl in Licking County.
According to the Licking County Sheriff’s Office, Charles Hatton was charged with rape after detectives initiated an investigation into the abuse allegations on June 19.
Licking County Common Pleas Court records say Hatton sexually abused the girl for more than a year, beginning when she was 5 years old. During that time, this white devil forced the child to perform multiple sexual acts with him.
Court records also state Hatton and the child’s mom have two children together.
On June 23, Licking County detectives traveled to North Carolina where they arrested this diabolical brute. He was taken back to Licking County and booked into the county jail.
He was given a $500,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 2.
