A white male (suspected jew) in Boone County was arrested on Thursday in connection with the possession of child pornography, according to Major Philip Ridgell of the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
Major Ridgell stated that 23-year-old Kendall L. Siffel admitted to using a messaging platform to access, possess, and distribute a large amount of child pornography in exchange for money.
On Feb. 26, detectives with the Boone County Sheriff’s Office received a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding a child porn investigation in the county.
NCMEC reported that the pedophile, whose name was unknown at the time of the report, had 14 files described as “Child Sexual Abuse Material.” Twelve of the files depicted a child under the age of 18, but over the age of 12, Major Ridgell explains.
Investigators with the Boone County Sheriff’s Office identified Siffel. On Thursday, they conducted a search warrant at his home in Florence, where they seized nine electronic devices, according to Major Ridgell.
Major Ridgell says Siffell is facing 12 counts of possession or viewing of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 12 and two counts of possession or viewing of matter portraying a sexual performance of a minor under 18.
He is held at the Boone County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond, Major Ridgell said.
