A Lee County couple was arrested on Friday, Feb. 15 on charges involving sexual assault of a household pet.
Married couple John and Samantha White were booked into the Lee County jail after detectives say John White recorded Samantha having sexual intercourse with a family dog.
“I am disgusted by the actions of these two North Fort Myers residents. I will not tolerate any kind of abuse in Lee County,” said Sheriff Carmine Marceno. “I stand by my guarantee to protect those who cannot protect themselves, and put criminals behind bars,” said Sheriff Carmine Marceno.
Lee County Domestic Animal Services removed four dogs from the home and evaluated them for injuries.
They are safe and being cared for at LCDAS.
The investigation is still ongoing.
