Kentucky State Police is investigating the death of David A. Rodgers, the former pastor of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
His death comes less than a week after he was arrested and accused of being in a sexual relationship with a child.
Kentucky State Police troopers say the pedophile died by suicide near his home in Utica.
KSP says his child raping body was found around 9:45 a.m. on Thursday.
Kentucky State Police says their protocol is to keep a current investigation open until an official death certificate is issued.
