A Paragould white male is being held on a $500,000 bond after police said he exposed himself to a child then touched the child’s genitalia.
District Court Judge Curtis Hitt found probable cause last week to charge Robert Medcalf, 58, with second-degree sexual assault, a Class B felony, and sexual indecency with a child, a Class D felony.
The Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline and the Paragould Police Department received a report Feb. 11 regarding a three-year-old child who disclosed an act of sexual abuse.
Sergeant Jacob Higdon said three witnesses confirmed that the child told them that the white brute pictured above had exposed himself then touched the child’s genitalia.
According to the affidavit, they provided “consistent information about the disclosure and when and where it had occurred.”
During a Mirandized interview on Feb. 12, Higdon said the pedophile revealed similar information but described it as an “accidental bathroom situation.”
However, the detective noted that during the investigation it was learned that the child molester “had been fired from a previous job for two separate allegations involving him exposing himself to two different adult males.”
The homosexual/pedophile is being held in the Greene County Detention Center awaiting his next court appearance. Should he bond out, the judge has ordered him to have no contact with the victim and to wear a GPS ankle monitor.
