Two white pedophiles have been arrested on 13 total charges connected to two separate cases of the sexual exploitation of minors, according to a release from South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson.
Mark Edward Lamothe, a 62-year-old from Charleston was arrested on Feb. 19, 2026, was charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor in the third degree.
Caleb Anthony Swibaker a 21-year-old from Summerville was also arrested on Feb. 19, 2026, and was charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor in the third degree.
The released statement says that investigators received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children which led them to Lamothe and Swibaker.
Investigations revealed they both monsters possessed files of child sexual abuse material and they were taken into custody in regard to their specific cases with the help of the Summerville Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations and members of South Carolina’s ICAC Task Force.
