A final pretrial is scheduled Monday for a Hooks, Texas, white male charged with continuous sexual assault of a child under 14.
Daniel Joseph Henson, 41, has also been charged with prohibited sexual conduct, sexual assault of a child and injury to a child, according to Bowie County district court records.
The white monster is accused of repeatedly molesting a 12-year-old girl. He will appear before 5th District Judge Bill Miller. If he maintains his not-guilty plea, he will proceed to trial at the Bowie County Courthouse.
Henson came to the attention of Hooks Police Department investigators on Sept. 26, 2021, according to a probable cause affidavit. The child rapist admitted to a family member that day that he had been sexually inappropriate with the girl beginning in July, 2020, when the girl was 12.
The pedophile claimed the “hormones and testosterone he has been taking had him messed up,” the affidavit states.
A family member was led to question Henson after he became tearful and emotional at a church service. The girl described many instances of abuse by Henson in 2020 and 2021.
If convicted of the continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14, the pedophile faces 25 to 99 years or life in prison. There is no parole from any sentence imposed for continuous sexual abuse of a child.
If convicted of prohibited sexual conduct,Henson faces two to 10 years in prison.
The case has been assigned to 5th District Judge Bill Miller.
